Description

Green fluorophore standard used for labeling and in enzyme assay systems.

The lower pKa version of fluorescein (similar to Oregon GreenTM) is widely used in biological assays and for labeling cells and tissues. This dichloro-version of the popular dye fluorescein is known to have higher fluorescence emission at lower pH values as well as greater photostability, similar to AlexaFluor dyes.
