Description: Protected glycine derivative produces the chemiluminescent compound 6-Amino-D-Luciferin Product M0352 upon peptidase enzymatic reaction.
Application: Subsequent analysis using the firefly luciferase detection system, provides an ultrasensitive method of measuring peptidase activity in vitro. Aminoluciferin is a very sensitive substrate of firefly luciferase and can be easily quantified in a luminometric assay.
