This fluorescein labeling reagent has an added (X) spacer to improve accessibility of the reactive group by nucleophiles in preparation of bioconjugates. The reactive N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) group can be used for easy attachment to proteins or amine containing nucleotides using simple procedures.
