Fluorogenic substrate for hexosaminidase enzymes. Has been used for enzymatic characterization of O-GlcNAcase isoforms.

This fluorogenic substrate has been used for enzymatic characterization of O-GlcNAcase isoforms producing the fluorophore fluorescein upon enzyme activity, with a green emission spectrum (~520 nm).
