Description

Amino analog of the D-luciferin substrate for firefly luciferase activity. It can be used in automated peptide synthesis for incorporation of amino-luciferin into synthetic peptides.

This 6-amino analog of the D-luciferin substrate for firefly luciferase activity is blocked with a common FMOC blocking group for use in automated peptide synthesis operations. Incorporation of amino-luciferin into synthetic peptides can produce ultra-sensitive chemiluminescent substrates for their individual specific peptidase activities.
